This is the original of a special Commission Susi did; you are purchasing an original Stained Glass Painting commission, not the one in the photo. Your stained glass painting will be very similar, the koi will curve in the same way and there will be the same number of koi, but individual details will differ. This is what gives each piece it's unique value.
The size will vary according to the window available, but general size guidelines are app 30" wide by 24" high for this design. Each window arrives ready to be hung, with eye screws and decorative chain. Please be certain the wall or ceiling you are using to hang the piece can support the wieght of the glass.
Stained Glass paintings are a thoughtful way to celebrate any special occasion or birthday; your gift will be cherished and remembered for many long years. Susi's glass work is not grouted or leaded; the edges of the glass catch the light and are highly refractory, like precious jewels. Take care not to touch the surface of the stained glass mosaics, however; cuts can occur.
Stained Glass paintings are well-suited to being hung outdoors; they should be taken down in high winds, however.Sun and rain only add to the patina of the wood and glass. Make certain any support beams on a porch or deck can safely hold the weight of the glass.
